I offered to dog sit for friends who are moving and are inbetween houses so they have no where to keep their dog. He was at the boyfriend’s sister’s house but they left him tied to a tree outside in the back yard. (I am in Phoenix and today was 118). The dog is a shepard mix with medium to long length fur. Well when they brought the dog over here he was infested with ticks. I have him in the bathroom because I dont want them in the house or him passing them to my dogs or cat. Well I cant leave him outside its too hot and it gets too hot in this particular bathroom so I need to find a way with either some sort of liquid or something that doesnt cost a whole lot to get rid of these ticks. I dont have the time to sit and pull them out one by one. My intentions were to shave him and then bathe with whatever. I dont have a lot of money so I cant buy a dip from the vet for 30 bucks and I cant take him to the groomer for 60. Any ideas out there?
