We have a glass coffee table and last night my husband and I lit some candles .. well, after they burned for a few hours .. I went to blow them out and the candle wax went everywhere!
All over the coffee table ..
(this is actually the second time I’ve done this .. luckily the first time our housekeeper came the next day and cleaned it ..now, she doesn’t come for another week .. )

How can I get this candle wax off GLASS?
I don’t want to use anything sharp and scratch the table….
Thanks…

put an ice cube on it for a minute or so, then pop it off with your finger nail.
use a sharp new razor blade
Use a hairdryer to melt the wax and wipe it off with a paper towel. Buff it out as much as you can with a dry paper towel and then clean of any remaining residue with glass cleaner.
Personally, though, I would just use a razor blade to scrape it off. If you use it at about a 15-degree angle to the glass, the blade won’t scratch the glass.
use a credit card or something thin and hard like a credit card. use that to scrape it up.
U could use a razor blade and as long as you hold the blade parallel to the table and bend the blade, it won’t scratch it but if u don’t want to take a chance, use the credit card. it will scrape right up.
Razor blade. You won’t scratch it if you are careful. Razors take paint off of windows too.
Your lucky it’s glass. My boyfriend did that to my rough granite coffee table. I could have killed him! I mean, wax on stone! Grrrr. I use a snuffer for my candles. My grandmother taught us that blowing candles out encourages negative energy (or some such thing). So, you can either wave your hand over it, pinch it, or use a snuffer. I guess the “bad energy” refers to wax all over the dang table.
Anyway, it’s not a big deal. Just let it dry, then scrape it off with a credit card. Then go in with Windex and clean off the little grease spots.
Go buy a snuffer and some candle bases.
I would probably scrape it with a razor blade if it’s glass..
You could probably heat it with the hair dryer and wipe it up……
You could use rubber gloves and some very hot water. but it will probably smear. There are some things on the market that will take wax off glass without harming the glass.
get a brown paper bag and iron over it
