Putting in my two-weeks notice?

Hi, I’m going to put in my two weeks notice for my job. I thought that on the last day I work I could give my boss a letter describing the wonderful time I had there while working. I need ideas though because I want the letter to be at least a page and it’s only half a page.

Also, I’m not sure how I should put in my two-weeks notice. I was going to tell my favorite manager that I would like to put in my two-weeks. Does that seem ok? Or should i write another letter explaining my two-weeks notice?

    You should give a written notice of your intent to leave, don’t make it long, just tell them you are giving notice and what your last day of work will be. You can meet with your manager and let them know what you are doing but also give them a written notice for the file.

    Just put in your letter all the good things you remember about the company and the pleasant experience you had.

    Yes tell your manager that you are putting your 2 weeks notice and also tell him how great the experience was but sadly you have to leave.
