I had a Barbie cake, though mine came from a bakery; they used a weird thing – it was a doll w/ a head, torso, and arms, and in place of her legs was a stick. I totally thought that having a real doll (even a cheap one you can get at the drug store) would be cooler for a bakery to include than a doll thing. Not only does it give the Birthday girl an extra surprise, but it also acts like an extra gift from the bakers for her birthday.
Oh my gosh! This brought back memories, when I was a toddler I went to visit my cousins (one was my age and was celebrateing a birthday too.) And our grandma made cakes, so she made us each two little Barbie cakes like this and told us to each pick one out, I still have my doll!
