yes it will but you have tro setup your wireless router first …….. what kind do you have?

If the wireless router is a plain router, connect the router to the LAN connection of the modem, then use a cable to connect the laptop to the router while you configure it. After you have set up the wireless security etc the laptop should connect, although it will ask you for the wireless key first. If your router incorporates a modem, it is the wrong type for the job.
Yes, first get the router, I suggest Linksys, install the software, follow directions.If you have another computer, (desktop), Remove the Yellow cable from the back of the tower. Plug that cable into the Internet slot on the router. Plug the Blue cable into port #1on the back of the router, next to the Yellow. Plug the Other end of the Blue cable into the place you removed the Yellow from the desktop. That’s how mine works, and I am not a computer whiz. If all else fails, call the router company, they’ll walk you through it. You need a WEP key to activate your wireless connection. You can e-mail me, I feel your confusion,
