How would you get wax off of glass?

Joey asked:

I spilled some candle wax on glass, smeared it pretty much, and now the texture won’t come off. What to do?

Use a hair dryer and heat it up and wipe it away.

Goof Off and WD40 are both fairly good solvents for candle wax, just dampen a paper towel with some and wipe.

I’ve heard that if you put the glass into the freezer for a while, the wax will come off easily.

    Sooo… maybe give it a shot :)

A blade scraper for the bulk of it
amonia or alcohol for the residue

Use an industrial razor blade. The ones with only one side to scrap the residue off, then use some ammonia to clean the glass. Should solve your problem. Or rubbing alcohol.
