    konyakku is like eating gristle. If you aren’t allowed to refuse it; just let it drop from your chopsticks and nudge it onto the floor. It’s like gummy bears without flavor and sugar, very rubbery. Feed it to the dog.

    actually enoki is the long white ones… the brown ones are shimiji mushrooms… they both taste EXCELLENT… try sauteeing them together with shitake in butter…. goes great on bread =)

    konnyaku is made from algae extract , yam powder and water (I think)
    It taste so good and is healthy because it has really little calories
    In Japan many people eat it for weight loss

    What exactly is the rice cake? Is it just mochi? Also, do soft boiled eggs present any health hazards i.e. salmonella? I love the subliminal messaging, the way it shows the finished product just for a flash. It’s funny. I love this show.
