How do I give an mp3 file a name?

I downloaded some songs, but they came out with no artist name; just the song title. How do I give it a name, so when I put it on my ipod, it comes out with the song’s band’s name?

   go to the file where u have downloaded them
   right click and select rename
   enter the name of ur choice and then press enter
   that’s it
