How can i hook up xbox live when modem is far away from system?

my xbox is in the basement of my house and our dsl modem?wireless router is upstairs. i was wondering how i could hook up the xbox to xbox live. i am using the regular xbox. would hooking up a second modem work? is there something that will recieve wireless signal and then transfer it to a ethernet cable. or would i have to resort to using a 200ft ethernet cable?

remember:
i have DSL
REGULAR XBOX
xbox is almost 200feet away from modem so there is no chance of using a cord

    hook a wireless reciever to your xbox

    and i have a 200 foot cable hooked up to my xbox 360.
