Well we brought this tiny tv into my computer room and hooked up the ethernet cable to my xbox and my xbox to my tv, and it worked fine, so I guess I have an ethernet thing on my modem. Will a wireless router work with that?

If your modem for some reason does not have an ethernet port, and only uses a usb connection, you will have to find a wireless router that accepts a usb connection for an input, and they are expensive. Any idea why you are hooked up through a usb cable and not an ethernet cable? A usb cuts your speeds down considerably and should only be used if there is a problem with your ethernet port on your computer.
