Do women feel comfortable with male aestheticians?

beauty wellness
The Richest Man In Babylon asked:

For years, I’ve been thinking about a major career move. I have this idea of becoming an anti-aging specialist. I’ve discovered three different schools and or courses that would help me achieve this goal.

I would have to become a qualified personal trainer from the National Academy of Sports Medicine, go to school for aesthetics (figured Skin Science in Utah might be the best choice) and receive a certification from the American College of Anti-Aging Sports Medicine.

With all of these combined, I’d plan to open my own practice. Rather unique, because I actually have a passion for health, fitness, skincare etc. One Problem!

How do women feel about having a male aesthetician? No waxing or make-up, although that’s in the curriculum, but I’d be more concerned with doing ****** services, skin evaluations and various other spa treatments, along with doing personal training sessions, and teaching fitness classes.

The idea is to help others maintain and preserve their natural beauty without drugs or medical procedures.

In my mind, this could be really exciting, and an extremely lucrative business. I just want to know what the women think, considering spa and wellness is a female dominated industry.

Be honest.

looking for advice on legal preperation for giving out free samples and surveys for a business not open yet?

beauty wellness
NJN asked:

I want to open a business where I would sell all-natural products for health, beauty, household, and pain management, as well as other things related to herbalism, aromatherapy and other natural health products. I have tested my recipes myself, and family has tested them for me, but I would like to get a table at a health and wellness fair to give surveys about my future business and to give out free samples with my name and number for people to try. I’m trying to find out about any legal preparations I need to make. I don’t have a registered business name or anything, I just want to do some research to prepare myself a bit more before I continue on with the process of opening a small business. Any advice would be really appreciated.

Revised short essay feedback?

beauty wellness
kittycatkitty asked:

Good Morning Ladies and Gentlemen, my name is Karla Ortiz and for the next few minutes I will share with you my perspective of a quote, which did not only capture my mind, but also captured my heart. A well-known woman once said: “The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched – they must be felt with the heart.” “Her name was Helen Keller and like most of us -if not all of us-know, Helen Keller was deaf as well as blind. Still, she saw perhaps not with physical eyes, but with eyes guided by her strong mind and strong spirit that showed her a beauty that could be seen amongst the darkness she was living in. You might be wondering why I have decided to talk to you about this quote, but instead of me just telling you, I will take you to a journey that might place you in my position. Let me ask you this, with a raise of hands how many of you would like to live in a house like this? Well, it is a common goal in today’s fast-paced society to achieve monetary wellness in order to live what some people call “the good life”. In this house you have the latest technology and a crew of people that are more than willing to take care of all of your needs. Now, picture yourself in this house. It certainly does not compare, right? So what is my point? Why am I showing these pictures? Well what you do not know is that in the second picture lives an aged couple who had been married for over 30 years. They had lived together the toughest years of their lives in that simple house. They had seen their son grow, they saw how he would fail, but they also had the opportunity to see him achieve all of his goals. Now if you show this picture to his now grown and mature son, he would not see just a house, he would see his home. The place that had been his shelter and though it was not a mansion, it had people inside of it that gave him the tools needed to succeed. He had love, he had companionship, he had support.
Which leads me to the initial quote: “The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched – they must be felt with the heart.”
Every single one of you saw the mansion and the house, but no one saw the emotions attached to each picture. You could not see the warmth of family love and support, but you could see how amazing the first house looked. Helen Keller once said: “I can see, and that is why I can be happy, in what you call the dark, but which to me is golden. I can see a God-made world, not a manmade world.”
Both houses were man-made, but only one of them had an emotional value. This value cannot be understood unless you had placed yourself in the position of those who lived it.
Now I’ll leave you with this question: With which eyes will you look at life?

Do 4 year univeristies offer classes realated to massage therapy/esthetician work?

beauty wellness
cherri asked:

Here’s the situation:
Dad wants me to go to a four year university and currently i’m enrolled as a freshman in one, but I would love to pursue massage therapy and be an esthetician. I’ve looked into beauty and wellness institutes and to make a long story short the father figure won’t help me out with schooling if I opt to go to a school that isn’t a 4 year college. So I figure I go for 4 years get my four year degree so I have something to fall back onto just in case and then get my license for massage etc etc. Is it possible to get a degree in these proffessions from a 4 year university? And what else could I branch out into that is related?

Do you think this is a good idea?

beauty wellness
Karen H asked:

I sell health and wellness beauty type products. I have always wanted to give back and help others, but like most people I have to work and don’t have much extra time.

Well I figured out a way I may be able to help others at the same time I work my business. I make a 35% retail profit on my sales and then I also get paid a percentage commission on my total team sales. I would like to offer individuals and groups my 35% profit to be donated to their charity of choice.

Here is how it would work. I sell over 300 products so something for everyone. Example: Rather than buying their normal shampoo and conditioner from the salon, they purchase from me and with each purchase they make, I donate my retail profit to their charity of choice. For those products, it would be about $10.00 each time, but over a year the charity has received about $120.00 just by them switching who they shop with. I can afford to do this, because I am still paid a commission on my sales and team sales. So I feel good also because I am able to provide this additional avenue of income to the charity?

What do you think? Will people like this idea?

Thank you for your feedback! Nice get real people’s thoughts before I make appointments to actually visit with different groups.

Since Regal was suspended, should he be forced to give up his “Crown”?

beauty wellness
*Triple M*(Queen of the Ring) asked:

I know this is not a beauty pageant or anything. However, I am a former state pageant winner for the state of Mississippi and I know that if any girl gets in trouble, nine times out of ten(except for Tara Conner/Miss USA) you are forced to give up your crown. Should William Regal, since his violation of the wellness give up his crown and “King of the Ring” title?

Wellness for Kitten and Adult cats?

beauty wellness
Amanda asked:

I adopted a new kitten yesterday. She’s an absolute beauty, she’s 8 weeks old and I named her Tootsie.

So, my question is- Is it okay to feed her adult wellness (wet and dry)? I heard somewhere that kitten food an adult food are basically the same. What do you think?
They really do not eat their dry food. I feed them the wet 3 times a day, so they’re usually not too hungry. I only have to refill the dry food bowl once every few days (that’s between 3 cats).
