What can I do to get rid of ants in my house?

I have pets in my house and I have ants. What can I do to get rid of ants safely? I need them gone. Right now they are in my family room which is not used that much. Help

    Get some mint plants. If you plant mint around the outside of your house, the ants won’t come in. They can’t stand the smell that emits from the mint. It won’t hurt the pets either.

    you need to know what type of ant they are…some species are easily controlled by baiting and by spraying for them actually causes the colonies to split making the problem worse, but you may need to know if they are wanting a protein base food or sugar based…with some ants it is easier to just attack them at the nest site so knowing what type of ant they are can determine where to look for the colony

    can think of three different types of ants I find nesting amongst and foraging on my mint beds I have growing

    We had ants in door and I didn’t really want to use poison so I found this website that gave you these method on preventing ants or getting rid of them.. I tried cinnamon and it WORKS!!! I have not seen one yet!!! here is the link, there are many other method,, check it out!
