Question by ladyk: What flea markets do you like to “hit” and or drive far to get to,and where?
would love to know some of the BEST of the BEST flea markets that people often sell their things…I keep reading in Martha Stewart magazines or other mags or even seeing on t.v. that very often people sell things not just thru these flea markets, but, also garage and or yard sales(in the east coast areas) really very valuable items…and they sell these things for about a quarter on up…unbeknownst to them, that they are in fact worth millions!!! Interesting huh?
Maybe they really do want to “rid” themselves of the “junk!” LOL!
Okay, so where are YOUR favorite places to wander and buy,and why?
thanks!!

pick up a copy of country living once in a while, or check the website. they feature a flea market usually every issue.
personally, i vote for the granddaddy of flea markets, the Rose Bowl in Pasadena.
We used to go to many garage sales, but they didn’t get us much for the time and gas spent. We also went to the flea market in Elkhorn, WI, but that charges an entrance fee. We now go to a free one in Cederburg, WI.
We also go to craft festivals. We went to Maple Fest in Marshfield, WI, last weekend. This weekend will will be at Cranberry Fest, in Warrens, WI. This is supposed to be the biggest in the midwest.
I like to go to Festival flea market. They have a wide veriety of anything and everything, and are really cheap! + the store is really big!
