I need some sort of organic way to get rid of ants?

I have a huge ant infestation in my backyard. I can’t use any kind of poison or spray because I have ducks that live out there. I need something that will get rid of the ants but also isn’t harmful to my ducks. Please help.

    Mix equal parts of baking soda and confectioners sugar. Put the mixture on the ant hill. The ants will carry it back to the Queen and kill her. Therefore…no more ants !!

    You might try a citris based product like Advanage.

    Orange Guard – available at Whole Foods

    Boric Acid mixed with a little bit of sugar – the ants take it back to their nest

    Another option is dried molassas – try your local gardening center

    find the nest and fill by vinegar.
