How to get rid of ants in your home?

We have little “piss” ants (thats what I was told they were) in our kitchen. They look like they are coming out through the creases in out cabinets and countertop. Ive sprayed ant killer and have ant bait out, but it just seems to be getting worse! How to I get rid of them?

    I have tried several things. Sprinkle flour around the area and they should be repelled. Cinnamon is also another one, but it has a tendancy to stain white. Lysol spray is another, it usually kills them in a few seconds, but they will come back. Drawing chalk lines around them will keep them contained and they won’t cross it, but be sure to use only white chalk. If you are treating the house treat the yard as well. They are mostly coming in for water, or running from it. But water won’t kill them, they float!

    I have the same problem every summer
    have tried everything without success until last year.
    I just place some cinnamon sticks on the counter and the shelves .
    especially put a few around the sink.
    that seems to work the best and is not as sloppy looking as having the powder all over hope this works for you

    you just hve to keep spraying, because until you get the queen ant they wil still keep mulitplying, it is the hardest thing, and right now is the ant season..keep all bread and things with crumbs up , they love crumbs…..boric acid in powder form helps too

    Ants become a nuisance when they enter homes. Instead of spending money on costly pest control, you can get rid of ants by removing the food source and using soap water.

    First of all, you probably have a Mound Outside or under your Home. You need to kill it First. Keep doing everything else you are doing inside. When you find the Mound, Pour Boiling Hot water on it. That will Kill them fast.
