I’ve tried over the counter sprays and none of them work. The product was” Raid bomb for ants and crawling insects”. It seem like they multiplied and I never saw one not even a few that were dead as of a result to the fumigator. I’ve tried wiping down with bleach that didn’t work either. Instead of incurring a fee and contract with an exterminator what can I do to rid of these pesky almost invisible to the eye creepy crawlers?
How to do

Find out what is attracting them and eliminate their food source. Do you have food in unsealed boxes and bags? Get some tupperware-style storage containers instead.
Use Terro ant killer where you see ants. Terro can be found at Lowe’s, Home Depot, or any hardware store. After a day or two, the ants will swarm the poison. After 4-7 days, the ants should be gone.
Find out where the ants are coming in from. Use caulk to seal that area up.
Try peppermint oil. Ants hate this. Put a few drops at the area where they are coming in and they will not come in.
They may try another route to get in, just keep the peppermint oil handy and soon they will be gone for good.
Follow the trail so you know where they are coming in from. Then seal up their hole with plain old Vaseline. We put Vaseline on the baseboards under our kitchen cabinets and in our pantry too. It really works. It’s so thick that they can’t get through it, and it doesn’t damage your home or pets, plus it lasts and lasts forever. I even used the Vaseline to seal up an ant hole in our shower and it still works, months later.
