How can you get rid of fleas in your home that is driving me crazy?

I have two little dogs. I never had any problem with fleas until my neighbor woman moved in. She has a poodle.Her apartment is infected with fleas. There is just a wall between our apartments. I want to get rid of them please tell me what to do.

    I FIND THAT CARPET FRESH WORKS WELL. ALSO VINAGAR WATER ,HALF A CUP TO A QUART WATER BOTTLE. I HAVE 4 LARGE DOGS AND THEY BRING IN SAND FLEAS FROM OUTSIDE. YOU CAN SPRAY ANYWHERE THIS WONT HURT ANYTHING

    i have 3 chihuahuas, 1 great dane, and a german shepard. i use seven dust. sprinkle it on the floor and it is safe to put on the dogs. thats all i use. i put it on the lawn too. i have not had fleas for two years. i have neighbors on both sides with dogs, one i know has fleas but we dont. its the cheapest most effective way i have found. good luck
