COMBAT ANT KILLER 24 HOUR.. Nothing More…. No kidding, this stuff is the best I have ever used…and it was in one day. I left the bates out after and I never had a problem since. Good Luck.

Powder is the best method to kill them. Dust the area every few days and try filling in any gaps with filler and just persevere. It took me almost a month to get rid of ants that were coming into our sitting room.

I was recently told cornmeal works. The reason is because the ants cannot digest the stuff. I was told to sprinkle it around the ant hill or heavily infested areas. I haven’t tried it yet, but everything else I have tried hasn’t worked so I’m willing to give it a go.

And hey, if it doesn’t work I can make cornmeal muffins with the left over cornmeal.

i found a product that really helps get of the ants for a long time, it takes a few days ,but it works,it called terro, comes in a small plastic bottle, you put a few drops on some carboard strips where you are seeing the ants, they take it home and feed the queen and the rest of the workers, you will see a lot more ants at first, but then no ants, get it at your hardware store or grocer, even drugstores, good luck , you will be happy , no spraying of nasty junk!!

maybe they r getting in by a tiny hole in your house that u can not see and that hole leads to the garden or front yard and all kinds of bugs and ants will enter the way to get rid of them is
if it is a serious bug and a lot of bugs get the exterminator because you can not handle all of the bugs by yourselfself with regular ant bug spray but if there is a little bit of bugs then u can handle it so good luck if it doesn’t work then they will be crawling all over yoUr food and going in Ur ear at night time and then Ur ear hurts a lot the next day and the have to try to take out the ant from ur ear because it might go in to ur body and they have to get it out as soon as possible or the ants will give u infection from outside for u and u will get really sick if it is a rare bug sickness so good luck!!

When dealing with ants, you have got to stop them from where they are coming into our home. Usually by treating the exterior with a good quality pesticide around the doors, windows, eves, water spigots, and any other obvious entrance point should stop them. I usually use a product called Demon WP. This is not available everywhere since it is considered a “professional use only” chemical. However, I have found it sold on e-Bay, so you may be in luck. Follow the mixing instructions carefully. With this product, more is not better. Good luck.

I have tried all sort of ant repellents, which do work and gets rid of them but every year they come back again.

I think its mainly the flying ants that get in through the open door and they find a corner to hibernate for the winter, I notice about March each year I have loads of them mainly near where I have seen the flying ants.

This year I am using Rentokill ant and wasp spray and every time I see flying insects out comes the spray, hopefully I will not have them again next year.

Have seen loads of answers to this lately. Equal parts icing sugar and borax (from pharmacy) sounds like good home made one. I always use Dethlac spray, you can get it at Wilkinson’s, thats where I got last can anyway. It works well for me and the can lasts for ages. Worth a try, cheaper than Experts anyway.

They won’t cross a line of talc. The trouble is, putting it so they can’t just go around it somewhere else.
