I would appreciate the advice of those who know how to get rid of ants with more natural ingredients or similar.
Yes, we keep the house clean.
I’m sorry but don’t you people READ. I said I have respiratory issues and am a cancer survivor with health issues. NO PESTICIDES or ORTHO. They use chemicals!
I need PROVEN recommendations, not guesses.
Can someone who knows please make solid and proven recommendations?
How to do

I have heard that putting cayenne pepper around entrances will keep them out. Also peppermint oil. If you have a mass of them, just spray some water on them and wipe up with paper towels and put in a resealable bag for disposal.
with turmeric powder
yes
baking soda, vinager, corn meal(cant digest it, thus killing them) black pepper, baby powder, chalk
There is this new or maybe old it is called ant syrup and they take it back to the nest and it is such a slow working poison that they feed it to the queen and it kills the whole nest. I found it at Lowes in the pest control aisle. of course the best thing is to have an exterminator spray once a month but the syrup works great.
I just read an article from a very good source stating to sprinkle CORN MEAL where ants are seen. They cannot digest it and they die.
okay i have one for you its called ORTHO indoor and outdoor ant, spider, indoor and outdoor roach killer and doesn’t leave an odor and it works good. if you don’t believe it look it up in the net. plus you will find other products that will work as-well
I have always used black pepper oil, mix with a little water and sprinkle around the house at all entry points. it works and wont bother your respiratory problems.
Mine is a very clean house too and I have had ants!! They detest mint, grow it in your garden as near your house entrances and it will deter them. The best solution I have inside the house is to use white vinegar – put it in a spray bottle and spray around any areas you have seem them, the vinegar is not toxic so it will not damage anything at all (in fact is is an excellent cleaner too!) the smell doesn’t stay long and I found it really does work. Good luck
