momof9 asked:
I have ants all over my kitchen counter. I have set out ant traps which worked the past few years, but they are not helping. What can I do to safely get rid of them? Something natural would be great.

roach spray
eat them
no really… the little ant trap things usually work… maybe the kind you got don’t work… try another brand.
I always heard that you should put a fabric softener sheet and set it on your counter. I think it aout the smell or something? Hope it works.
Keep your kitchen cleaner. If there isn’t anything for them to eat they won’t bother you.
Well I don’t’ know of anything natural, but I do know of something that worked for me. It’s called Terbo. It is a liquid substance that you put on a piece of card board. You put it in front of where they are coming out. The ants will come and eat it and then take it back to the queen. This will kill the colony in a couple of days. Don’t let your pets get near it though. Good luck with the ants. Hope it works for you.
depending what kind they r will determine what to use. but yes the traps do work just have to get the right one… click on my pic and add me to your messenger and i can tell u more.
track down where they are coming from and spread out a line of cinnamon or baking powder that blocks them in. ants won’t cross a line of fine powder. (i think it suffocates them, or something like that. sounds weird, but it’s true.) also, clean up your kitchen as much as possible, including washing every surface and the floor, so they will have nothing to eat.
You can use Terro Syrup which is a thick liquid that sweet eating ants like and it works great. It’s made from Borax, the laundry stuff. It’s actually a natural substance mined from the ground. I made a paste of water and borax and wiped out all of my cabinets in the kitchen. I haven’t seen an ant in there since and this was March.
