Bed bugs are commonly found in mattress.I had lot of bed bugs in my mattress and one of my friend suggested me a mattress protection product and this protected me from bugs. http://www.Protectabeddirect.com
If you don’t wanna throw your mattress out, you can go to Wal-Mart and get a plastic bed cover. Be sure to tape the edges where the zippers are. Unfortunately, since bed bugs can live up to 18 months without eating, you’ll need to keep your mattress covered for that long. If the infestation has spread to the rest of your room (or home), the best thing to do is call an exterminator. However if it’s just a small problem (and you can’t afford the professional), you can go to your local hardware store and get an insecticide specifically for bed bugs. There is this insecticide called JT Eaton Bed bug spray. It worked great for me when I had my infestation (it was just a small one though isolated to only one room). It costs 20.00+ per bottle. But I guess the safest way (if you can afford it) would be to call an exterminator. Just to be sure. =)
