I’ve had these redish bumps above my lips for about 4-6 months now, from when i popped them when they used to have the white pus stuff. They are still above my lip, and its really anoying. Its only on my lip too. New white heads and pimples keep growing above my lip, any tips/ideas to get rid of those “scars” and prevent them? Theyere really anoying
Definently not herpes, its older acne that just isnt goign away, probably because i didnt pop them right

Sounds like a case of oral herpes.

I’d go see a doctor, they can prescribe a cream or ointment to help prevent breakouts in the future.

EDIT: Even if you don’t think it is herpes, I’d still go see a doctor if it is a recurring problem. There still may be a high-level drug they can give you to help make the acne go away.

Question by Kathy M: HELP ME !!!! How do I get rid of the “blemishs” on my face?

I am 30+ yrs old, and I have a few “dark scars” on my face and want to know how to get my skin back to that perfect no marks face I had when I was 18. It seems like when I got older and after having kids my face went into revolt and now if I get a pimple and “take care of it” it leaves a horrible dark spot behind. I want to get rid of those, and be perfect again, so how can I do that and not strip my face of all mosture at the same time or even worse have my break outs beome the next world war on my face.
I really Need help on this.

I cover up blemishes with revlon age defying concealer with botafirm/SPF 20…if you use it for awhile it lightens the blemishes …I also use Cover girl clean makeup oil control better than face powder… this is how i wear my make up:

I put cover girl clean make up first on my whole face than i put the concealer on my blemishes than i blend it all together…than i use bronzers to lift my cheek bone so people will notice my cheeks rather my blemishes…heheh and i wear cool earings to divert their attention from my blemishes…heheh

I think you’re misinterpreting John Adam’s quote. He isn’t saying that you should go invade another sovereign nation to kill its leader, but that it’s the nations right (the peoples) to kill their own leader if that leader is a tyrant. The Iraqi people should of killed Saddam, not the US.

The Iraq war wasn’t justified. Over 600,000 Iraqi’s were killed in just a month. Yes, getting rid of Saddam was a good thing, but it doesn’t justify killing hundreds of thousands of people and going to war with a sovereign nation.

What Counts As An Acne Home Remedy?

Anyone who has suffered from acne has at least thought about trying some home remedies to treat their acne. And why not? It’s certainly cheaper than going to the dermatologist. There is a lot of information on the Internet about acne home remedies, but what really counts as a home remedy? Well, that depends on how you want to look at it.

Broadly defined, I would say an acne home remedy is anything you do or use to treat your acne that wasn’t specifically manufactured for the purpose of treating acne. This could include anything from eating certain foods and drinking lots of water to making your own elaborate concoctions to put on your face. If you want to be more rigid in your definition, much of what you read about acne home remedies is going to be about natural plants and herbs that may have some acne fighting property to them.

Common Acne Home Remedies

There are hundreds, if not thousands, of acne home remedies floating around out there. You’ve probably heard, or even tried, several of them. These remedies get passed down from generation to generation and some end up being more popular than others. Who knows what causes one remedy to be proliferated more than another, but it doesn’t always seem to have anything to do with the effectiveness of the remedy. Whatever the reason for their popularity, here are a few acne home remedy ingredients that you may have heard of.

Nearly all acne home remedies involve a recipe and some form of preparation, so don’t just start applying these things to your face at random. Of course, you are free to experiment with your own home remedies, but it is probably best to stick with things that other people have already tried.

Your skin is unique to you. The way it reacts to certain ingredients will be different than the way someone else’s skin reacts. For that reason, it is difficult to say whether any particular acne home remedy works or not. The real question is will they work for you.

Let me give you an example. One home remedy that I have heard of involves making a paste out of honey and cinnamon powder and then applying the paste to the skin. This probably worked great for someone or else I most likely never would have heard about it. On the other hand, I have a niece who breaks out into giant hives if she gets anywhere near cinnamon. Obviously, this remedy would not work for her. This may be an extreme example, but it makes my point. You may not be allergic to anything, but the point here is that the healing properties of a particular ingredient may work well for one person and have absolutely no effect on you what so ever.

They key with acne home remedies is to be careful and experiment until you find something that works for you. Most treatments take some time before you see any beneficial results, so have patients. If you try a different home remedy everyday, you will have no idea what worked and what didn’t. The best thing you can do is learn about all the home remedies you can and then go through them systematically until you find something that works well for your skin.

Get Rid of Pimples Overnight: 5 Ways to Get Rid of Pimples Overnight

Doctors and dermatologists have a tendency to claim that you can’t get rid of pimples overnight. I’m here to tell you that they’re lying. You can get rid of pimples overnight, and I’ll show you five easy ways to do just that.

1. Cover your pimples with ice: Instantly reduce swelling and inflammation by placing a wrapped ice cube or ice pack on your pimples. Keep it there for about 15 minutes, and in just a little while your pimples will be less red and puffy.

2. Orange peel facial: Make an easy poultice of grated orange peel and water to get rid of bacteria in the pimple. Simply grind some orange peel with a potato peeler or grater and mix the shavings with 1 tablespoon of water. Wash your face with a facial cleanser and apply the poultice to each of your pimples. Leave it on until it’s dried – usually about 15 minutes or so. Rinse it off with warm water, and pat your face dry with a clean washcloth.

3. Remove the pimple with a blackhead/whitehead extractor: This takes a special touch, but you can easily get rid of a pimple with an extractor tool as long as it’s not a cyst. If you can see the white head on top of the pimple, it is safe to remove the pimple.

To begin, wash your face and sanitize the extractor tool in alcohol or hydrogen peroxide if it’s not clean from a previous use. Using the looped end (or the cupped end, depending on which style you own), gently glide the tool over your pimple until the pus oozes out. Don’t press so hard you begin to make impressions in your skin. Stop immediately if you start drawing blood out of the pore instead of pus.

4. Remove the pimple using Q-tips: If you don’t have an acne extractor tool, you can use this simple technique to get rid of your pimples overnight without causing a scar. Take one Q-tip, break it in half, and arrange the two soft heads on either side of the pimple. With ever so little pressure, squeeze the pimple with the two ends, and soak up the pus with the cotton. Stop if you start squeezing out blood.

Apply benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid cream or spray to the pimple after extracting it; if you need to cover up the little red spot, use an oil-free cover up or concealer.

5. Apply a little sulfur treatment, like the kind that comes in the Proactiv bonus kit, to your pimple for ten minutes. Wash it off with warm water and a washcloth and don’t apply any other treatments for at least four hours afterwards.

I have a male and female Chihuahua and they seem to have some sort of “SUPER FLEAS” because I have done Everything to get rid of them and cant I’ve tried Advantix, over the counter flea meds I’ve flea bombed my house and they just wont die I’ve even used vet meds and NOTHING works any other ideas??

what you could do is buy flea and tick shampoo and wash them about every 6-7 days during the time they have the fleas. also, you can buy a flea collar. hope this helps!
