Question by bikinibabe33: how do you get rid of scars left from pimples or acne?
i picked a pimple before semi and another before a date. the pimple itself was harder to cover up than the broken skin… so off they came! and boy was that stupid… now im stuck with these tan scars on my face one between my eyebrows and one where a guys mustache is (sry idk what that is really called lol). is there anything i can do to get rid of those “scars”. please only give suggestions that HAVE WORKED FOR YOU!

i have this problem too.
what i learned that helped was, aloe vera , just apply it every couiple minutes.
you can buy vitamin E tablets from cvs and crush it , add water and make a paste . apply it and leave it on for 5-10 minutes and wash it off.
it should be gone in no time

we have calla lilies, hibiscus, and some sort of an orchid.
I was watering the plants today and discovered there are dozens of ants in them.
These plants have never been outside, so I don’t know HOW the ants got in them.
The ants are tiny tiny, thin and black. In the south we call them “sugar ants” but I don’t know what they really are.
How can we get rid of them?

Try some corn meal on top of the soil.
This is a might–look under the leaves and see if there are some very tiny eggs.
Ants usually get on plants if there is something sweet there.
Aphids make a honeydew and the ants eat it.
The aphids can be scrapped off. Or washed with ivory soap and water.
If they are gone, the ants will leave.

Question by doglovers: have i get rid the fleas on my dog?
in past few days, i found a flea on my dog’s back (near his neck). my dog is black short-coat dachshund. i found the flea when i cuddled him. when i touch the “flea” area, he was very itchy, then i kinda felt something inside his fur. there were some black dirt on my hand. then i combed that area and saw a flea tried to escape from the comb. when i combed it again, i can not found anymore fleas. the next day, before i bathe him, i tried to find fleas again but i found nothing. so i sprayed an anti-fleas spray i bought in petshop (but its not frontline) on his body especially in the flea area and i bathe him with usual shampoo. i cleaned his bedding area and also spray the anti-fleas on it. so, have i do everything i have to do to get rid of the flea? its been two days and so far i can only find one flea. i checked his body everyday but found nothing except a flea that i found days ago. has my dog already free from flea? i’m so worry!! anyone please help me!

I would still worry. Fleas are hard to get rid of. The best place to check for fleas is the belly between the legs. Fleas go for the warmest place. And since your dog is black this is the easiest place to see them. Fleas also hide in the rugs so i would vacuum the rugs every day and throw out the bag, so if any fleas are in there they wont get back into the house.
If after a month you haven’t seen anymore then i would say that you got rid of them. Good Luck

Question by Jake: What is bothering my dog? fleas? How can i get rid of them!?
My golden loves to swim in our pool and stay out in the hot sun. She HAS been treated for fleas. She was treated 2 weeks ago. however, recently, after coming home from work i saw she had two cuts or bloody spots on her skin where it looked like she had scratched herself till she bled. looking more closely i saw that she had tiny black insects roaming around, which i assume were causing the scratching. I was wondering if there was any way to remove these “fleas” quickly and keep them off. I have K9 advantix, should i use this right away or remove the “fleas” first?
What are these pests and how can i get rid of them! Are there any common household items i can wash my dog with to remove these “fleas?”

k9 advantix or advantage are both good products to use.
You dont have to do anything before putting it on your dog
just follow directions and apply. It will take a few days and you will notice a difference and shouldnt see them anymore.
If you want to give your dog a bath before treating,,this is perfectly fine
use a mild shampoo,,like baby shampoo or dog shampoo, and brush her out thoroughly after.
You will want to follow directions for the flea control you choose to use and reapply it as directed. This will keep her free from fleas
