Most make sense but then you have the “Who here likes steak?” or “Who likes Britney Spears?” which are opinion questions. Well, what am I supposed to ask. If not for people’s opinion, then I shouldn’t ask a question. It seems opinion is the only point since I can type into any search rngine “How to get rid of fleas” or “How to defrag hard drive”, or “World Heavyweight Champion 1998″, or “people killed in World Trade Center attacks.” I guess I am dumb but it seems Yahoo Answers naturally favors the “Who likes James Dean and Why?”

I have those really small ants in my kitchen, we call them “sugar ants”. If a crumb gets let on the counter, they are all over it. They don’t bite that I know of. Please give me ideas to get rid of them. Thanx

Ants are just attracted to sweets. For ants on the counter top, wipe down the counter top with white undiluted vinegar. To prevent ants from coming into the house, or getting into cupboards, sprinkle dried mint or red pepper where they are entering the house and in the cupboards. If you know where the anthills are, make a mixture of 50 percent borax (sold in laundry aisle of supermarkets) and 50 percent confectioner’s sugar and place near anthill. The ants are attracted to the sugar and carry the fatal borax/sugar combination back to the nest to feed the queen and other ants. Soon all ants will be dead. Do not put this mixture where children and pets can ingest it. To get rid of anthills, pour 3 gallons of boiling water down them. This is best when done when the ants are active and at the surface. Do not do it near flowers or they will die.

I have tons of these bugs, all over my house.
I was told they are called ‘asian beetles’, and they sting and or bite, and they stink when you kill them.

HELP!!!!!!

Yes, they stink when you kill them, they also will leave an orange stain. They are a real pain. Being from Wisconsin, we get them bad this time of year. I have heard of people making a soapy mix with something like Dawn and water. Then spraying the outside of your house. If they are inside, vaccum them up. But be sure to get rid of the bag right away…..or they’ll die and stink! I’ve been told to be sure to not let them stay in your house or they will reproduce as long as it’s warm in there. I know this isn’t much help….but I don’t know of a real “sure” way to get rid of these buggers! Good Luck!!
